    Comforting biblical promise

As we start a new year, I thought this might encourage some of you.

I recently read Joel Osteen's newest book and it reminded me of a verse in the bible that I had forgotten, but yet applies to many of us that have gone through heartbreak or been mistreated by someone we've loved and trusted.
I'm not sure where the verse is exactly off the top of my head, but to paraphrase it says basically that God is our vindicator and will pay us back double for the people who have done us wrong. You have to stay in faith and believe, but God always keeps his promises.

In this book, Joel writes, "If somebody does you wrong, instead of getting negative and bitter, your attitude should be: They just did me a favor. They just qualified me for double. And I believe my time is coming. I will come out with twice the joy, twice the peace, and twice the victory."

When I feel sad, I try to stay in faith and remember there is a reason for what we've gone through and there is a plan bigger and better than we can see.

God Bless and my wish is for our hearts to heal!
