I joined when my ex and I broke up last March. We had moved together from New England to San Diego and had been together a year and a half. I moved out in one weekend, and needed some advice and support on how to push forward with my life. It helped a great deal!

Probably because it was on a first position on google list when I wrote `love forum`hehehe . Why? I was at the beginning of a stupid relationship I wish I could go back there and kick my own face for being so stupid hehehe. but then I would come back to this day and still be happy cause without my ex asshole bf I wouldn`t be celebrating 1 year anniversary on this saturday with my the ****ing best bf ever Well soon will be also my 2nd year anniv here Gosh everything is awesome

Oh yeah it did work out, but of course I didn`t want to listen to all the advices here I`m kind of a person who needs to get ass kicked to understand what`s going on, words don`t work on me. But still ,I came back here , I think I like to read about other people`s drama

I join a long time ago when I asked a girl out and she said yes. Then when I was about to pick her up, I called to make sure she was ready. She never picked up the call.
Then I called 10min later and her mom answered and said that she was not home....
I needed to vent.

Just wanted a place I could vent or listen to others. Also, I wanted a place where I could open up and get advice w/out having to worry anything get back to my bf before I could go to him first. My roommate is very close friends with my bf and I trust him but he thinks he's helping by opening his mouth when he's really not.

I joined for a reason you might find pathetic.

I have nobody to talk about love issues around me.

Most of my friends are setlled and having babies at the mo.

Strangely they are done talking about men and love. They have other priorities (think nappies!). It is like they think they have graduated from this class you know.

Also in here you can have a right moan at things without people thinking you are miserable. You can be more honest than with relatives and friends. You don't need to pretend you are fine. You don't need to pretend you have completely moved on regarding past issues.

This place is freedom and space. It's also where you realise that you are not the only one to experience self destructive thoughts over a failed relationship.

In a nutshell it is like a tribe, a community where everyone share the same bond.

It is like AA but for a love addiction...
