How do I get him back?

Okay so here's the deal.

My boyfriend of over a year broke up with me and less than a month later he became interested in one of my good friends.

They haven't started dating yet, though I feel it's inevitable.

He and I are still good friends, and I know that this girl gonna break his heart.


Here's my question:
How do I make myself as appealing as possible. How do I make him fall in love with me so that when she breaks his heart, he comes running back?

Ok, first of all, you can't make someone fall back in love with you. They either do or they don't.

Second, if he is interested in your friend, then chances are thats how it's gonna be until he figures out for himself how she really is. You really can't dwell on that though.

Third, why would you want him back after he dumps you and pursues your best friend?

If I were you, I would try to find out what attracted him to me...and what made him stop our relationship. This is a basic thing to do.
