I noticed my post count was "stuck" for a while, and then it finally started working again and I was up to 2,050, and now I went back down to 1,981. This happen to anyone else? Sometimes I see noobies and it says their post count is 0, which is clearly impossible, but yeahh....

It starts count after your first post or maybe it counts after a post from the introduction section.

someone probably deleted some older threads that included your posts which is the only reason why your counts would drop.
anyways, with newbies, i think that there is a minimum of 10 posts that you must make before your count is displayed.
raverboy...this is just my perspective on the situation...
