I’ve just had a row with my cell phone….i beat it up…do ya ever feel like doing that? All this new technology supposed to make our lives easier and all it does is trap us to depending on something we didn’t need and then ruin our lives when it doesn’t work arrrrrgggghhhh! I’ve been tempted to throw my computer out the window numerous times….why….why…..you’re supposed to be my friend that does everything for me!??????

I agree. Heh, I remember those old NOKIA phones, 3310, 5110 etc. Sopme people still have them because they are so reliable. You could throw it to pieces from fifth floor, find the pieces and put it back together and it works... It was also used as a weapon for crooks, because its solid and hard.
But todays cell phones are just waste of energy, you have to buy a new one after 2 years, even sooner. Everything breaks and becomes glitchy.

I had a nokia 3320, that thing was a rock...I had that thing accidentally tossed (don't ask how) out of a moving car at about 30mph hit the ground, shatter the shells...bought new shells. Phone still worked.

As for technology being a pita, learn how to use the stuff and you won't have that problem. Most problems are user errors.

To be honest, I can't stand it when people claim vista is crap, it sucks, it's unstable. Yes before Service Pack 1, it sucked. But so did EVERY windows OS. Service Pack 1 fixed pretty much all the large bugs. Second, learn how to use the damn thing. Most computer problems are caused by the programs you installed, spyware, malware, or viruses. Find what's running, what's hanging, what's eating up your memory. Get rid of it, reinstall it, or find a fix for it.

Vista has been a very stable OS for me with SP1. The only thing I'm not fond of is it's memory whoring compared to XP. But computers are getting faster and that isn't too big of a problem. Plus I run Vista in classic mode with pretty much the bare minimum visual crap and bullshit it comes with which speeds it up a bunch.
