    LF Potluck Dinner

Most of us have something we cook really well. Here's where you can brag about what you would bring to the big dinner party.

My quiche kicks all the ass and leaves none for anyone else.

Shrimp Fettucine Alfredo.., with creamy alfrdo sauce that is not heavy, light.., but still rich.. the shrimp is cooked and prepared seperately.. allowed to sit in and absorb the complex flavors of Jorge Ordonez & Co. Seleccion Especial No. 1 Muscat (Spain).. the rest will go into the alfrdo sauce until i'm happy with the sauce.. whatever is left will be discarded into the sink.. When ready.., will be served hot with a bottle of Bartenura Moscato d'Asti (Italy) served chilled..

It might not quite match up to Giga's quiche.. but I think you'll all enjoy.. it's my personal favorite

    Best,

I'd have to buy dessert.., I can't make any form of dessert for the life of me.., unless someone here can fill in that department.. kudos to you..

Hmm.. I can make dessert. I once had a chef offer me a job baking cheesecakes for his restaurant. I like my pumpkin cheesecake the best. I can also make fantastic chocolate cake that stands about 9" tall, with ganache frosting. I can make any kind of fruit pie, but I never eat them because I prefer chocolate. I used to make truffles and peppermint patties, but now that I've taught my daughter to do it, she has taken them over.

I also have never served my matzah ball soup to anyone who didn't think it was the best they ever had.

I actually like to cook, especially Thanksgiving dinner.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I make pretty good roast beef, and my cabbage rolls are second only to my grandmother's. Even so, I served them to her at Easter and she told me she might have competition.

I loved reading this post.. it just reminded me of how much of a sweet tooth I have.. and how much me and dessert don't mix..

That's how i'm going to die.. with a piece of cheesecake in one hand.. and chocolate cake in the other..
