I just wanted to let you all know that I am going to break up with my boyfriend tonight. He just called me at work and gave me a real hard time for not calling him on my lunch. I was chatting with a co-worker and I told him that but it seems he does not believe me then he hung up. I had a few threads earlier regarding my situation, but now with all of your support I am going to get the courage to do it. He is a mean man.

or, you can let the neighbor know beforehand, and to check on you, say, if you don't come out in about 10 minutes or something.

that way, if he wants to do anything, there's the opportunity for distraction.
