What kind of music are you into? I'll give you some from each genre and hopefully you will like something. lol

Pop: John Mayer (he's an amazing guitarist)
Rock (light-hearted): Barenaked Ladies
Light Rock: Third Eye Blind and The Cure
Rock/Alt: Incubus, The Shins, Smashing Pumpkins and Ours
Rock (but with a metal edge): A Perfect Circle, Godhead, and Metallica
Classic Rock (60's and 70's): The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd

And if you want to be "cool" or "hip" you will listen to the stuff that everyone likes to call music but isn't. That would be rap such as Eminem, Nelly, 50 cent, jay z, puff daddy/p diddy/sean john (what ever the f*** his name is lol) and others like them. I personally wouldn't suggest it if you are at all into real music. These are in no way real music. It is more beats and rhymes.

And to those who plan to come in here defending rap, I don't care. This is just my opinion and nothing more. Don't try to convert me or anything. I wont even consider it. And I am sorry if I offended anyone. Just remember that we all have opinions. Peace!
