If you have feelings for someone, is it not fair for her/him not to know about those feelings? That is, is it unfair not to tell her/him about your feelings?

I don't think fair or un-fair has anything to do with it. You either tell them and then they know or they do not know...or they have an intuition about your feelings but are waiting for you to justify it.

i would agree, and being that they are unaware that another person is interested in them, they probably could care less about it all together.
