How do I convince him?

I've really never been in a relationship, I have been hurt in the past...my first crush or love whatever you want to call it. Since then I have been afraid giving my all to someone who I truly love and care about. He is my first real boyfriend, according to him, he is confused why if there are "so many attractive guys" where I lived and never had a boyfriend. That I am too good to be true, that anyone would do anything to be with me when that was NEVER the case. I know he is my first but I really do Love him, I have seen my friends with their guys and its on and off all the time, I never wanted that. Right when I laid eyes on him I just knew he was going to be important in my life. That he is the one I have been waiting for. He really means the world to me. He know my situation and has been very patient with me but I'm not sure how much longer this will last, I don't want to loose him. How do I show him that I truly love him and want to be with him?
