I have been with a girl for almost three months. We started off tetxing alot but it has cooled off. We are both still very interested but we see each other alot so the texting is not as much

There's days where I won't text her until close to two in the afternoon. I really don't have much to say so why just text pointless stuff.

She initiates alot of the conversation to though so it's good

I wonder if it's good that I'm not always texting her? Like if I texted her every day all day wouldn't that be clingy? She babysits in the morning so I usually figure she's busy so I usually wait until the afternoon to send a text, unless she has first

I just don't want to text to little she loses interest you know?

Keep texts where its needed.....like to just to say hello or have a good day. I dont get how or why people have full blown conversations through a phone keyboard?

You are texting enough. And you can send some dead-end texts that will brighten her day without being clingy. Like somebody else said just saying "Hope you have a great day" or "Thinking about you, Talk to you later" shows you are interested and thinking of her without having to continually text nothing.
