Moving on films...

I noticed that there was a thread about songs that help you get over a breakup...

...well songs just don't do it for me. I like to lose myself in another world completely for a couple hours. Something that deals with the issues of breaking up... I can't think of any films that have this (without them being some cheesy teen flick... or that have the "well they got together at the end after all" ending).

Anyone know any films to help one's self-esteem after this? I'm male btw, if that helps lol.

I think the movie Holiday w/Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jack Black and Jude Law is a great movie for that sort of thing. It has a girly side to it but there some guy stuff too in it.

I just read the synopsis to that... doesn't that seem like a "well they got together after all" type of movie?


I was thinking more along the lines of "In Good Company" where the character loses the girl, but yet moves on and is still content and happy at the end of it all....
