Commitment phobe- but will she change?

Hi everyone.

I met a girl last year, and we eventually got together. Everything was going great, she told me how beautiful I was and how much she loved me. We joked about the future, saw our own friends regularly. I loved her so much, it felt so right.

But then, a few days after telling me she loved me, amongst other things, she breaks up with me. She told a relative of mine that she is scared of commitment, but I'd done nothing wrong. She has been treating me badly, I guess almost manipulating me. I told her tonight that I wouldn't speak to her for a while.

Now, as much as I'm getting over her, it's not going to be overnight. Is there any chance she will grow out of it and come back?

The answer to that is sort of irrelevant. You should be moving on as if you'll never get back with her.
