God, so atrocious in the Old Testament, so attractive in the New--the Jekyl and Hyde of sacred romance.

Because his kind had the fortitude, the courage, and the conviction to fight for his country and often died as a result... while those who remained behind usually didn't have those traits and tend to come up with stupid ideas that tend to tie this country into knots.

I salute him, for he is indeed part of noble and rare breed.

He's lived through one of the most oppressive era's our country has seen for many groups of people and he still comes out with a clear head.

He just makes the close minded population look even dumber than we presume. Well spoken.

    Indeed.

I'm not sure all the rest of what he read was his own words, but that simple statement was for sure.

They are old and dying, Grib. Soon to be gone. We are losing a whole generation of experience and wisdom in a very short period of time. Its a problem in many areas, actually.

    Youtube them all, I say.

I saw a holocaust survivor the other day. The 3rd one I've seen in my life. Most of 'em are dead.

The young generation will never know how tough their fore fathers had it. My grandma, her entire life never threw away food that people treat as garbage these days. She was in Stalingrad when Nazis attacked, she lived through the Second World War and she knew the true value of a piece of bread.
