Why am I not surprised about such a reaction?

Ease up on the sensitivity a tad. I'm sure they meant allow as in the sense of both in the relationship agreeing that a mini-skirt is appropriate to wear.

I'm with qwerty... the word "allow" suggests a power imbalance. If I were told I weren't allowed to wear a mini skirt, I'd probably run out and buy one, and wear it all the time.

That said, I think a lot of girls wear their skirts too short, even for a mini.

I found out that my girl wore hot-pants at a club one night while I was away, and I'll be honest, I was pretty annoyed about it. not because of the clothing, because she would've been a knockout....but because she would never wear that around me. I think that's kinda sneaky, if you know what I mean.

Im not sensitive, I just like to make my own mind up about things.
Even if it was meant to mean whether both see it as appropriate..its the same thing- if i see it as appropriate i will wear it, regardless of whether he likes it or not.

Yeh, i agree vashti, alot of girls do wear them too short, but at least they have the choice to if they so wish.
