How long should I wait to call a woman after getting her number?

contrary to popular belief- do NOT wait X number of days...
it depends on how ur conversation ended when u were together... assuming u left on a high note- which i assume if u got her number, call her the next day. tell her u had a great time talking to her, and would like to setup a date "friday" night. TELL her u want to bring her someplace to eat... dont ASK, be the man and tell her "I found this really great place that has delicious sushi- come with me" it keeps it light, and its still a date

You should call her as soon as you want too.

If you waited days to call me, you'd be ignored.

it really depends on the girl. If you meet her and you get the sense that she's a total love
call her the next day to ask her out on the phone. She's going to be excited to hear from you.
If you get the notion that the girl has got a little bit of edge, or an attitude, or she's playing
harder to get, then use the principle of least interest and wait two or three days before you
call her to ask her out on the phone.
