who of you have ever made a second attempt at a relationship and how did it turn out? are there any chances for two people who've already proved they can't be together to get along the second time round?

I think people are more resistant to change than we think, so second chances often (although not always) are pointless.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
that just about sums up my own experience.Originally Posted by vashti

Speak less. Say more.
It can work out..since the two persons have got to know the differences and problems that existed..and this time round..if they r really in love and want to eb together..they would accept teh differences and try to solve or avoid the problems they have faced once and make the relationship successful...coz thst teh whole point of trying a second time round!!
alice, NO - don't even think of it. The guy's an assh*le.
don't worry, i'm not thinking of anything. else i'd be talking about "third chances"Originally Posted by Tone

Tried it, failed too. Theres gotta be a reason why it didnt work the first time, then again alot of people find the second chance has become their strengthing. It works for some and doesnt for others.
everything happens for a reason...beginning to wonder why.
Second chances are a bad idea. I've never heard of any couple that pulled one off successfully.
