Why do people lie to others whom they claim to care about?

Because they care about nobody, when they say they care about you, that might be part of the lies too. I duno, thats just what liars do. They dun need reasons to lie, just because they feel like doing so, then they do. They dun really think about how it might hurt others before lying. That's how I see it.

So I don't worry my parents into having ulcers. I don't lie to them just don't tell them what they don't need to know

I think they lie because they care about you. They dont want to hurt you so they lie to you or dont tell you certain things.

Others just like for the hell of it.
