My girlfriend trusted me with a really big secret.
A really really important event happened, and i had to keep it a secret.
Later some day after, one of her best friends comes to me and asks what happened. I gave her a minor hint, and she assumed the rest. She ended up telling my girlfriend, and she will not forgive me now. She is really upset. How to i apologize? I really love her, and i didn't mean to screw up.

Gad I hate when you trust someone to NOT tell your gf and then she goes and tells her. ya see thats what this site is great for, you can let it out and it wont affect her.
Letting a secret out that she trusted you with would make me mad if I was her too but not enough to wreck the relationship. Let her know the friend guessed it and your back was against a wall and you didnt want to lie but you saw how much it effected her and like raze says say it won't happen again. Youre going to have a little bit of trust to build back up.
