Squirrel! It's a #1! Which comes out to 1/4 inch. With the guard up (otherwise it'd be a 1 and 1/2). That way all the hair lies flat against my stomach and it's out of the way, but it doesn't look bald (which would just freak me out and probably lots of girls too).

PS - When shaving/trimming, always go AGAINST the grain. I know it's all curly down there so the grain is every-which way, but in general, I find better/closer results while going upwards.

For one thing, it itches like all hell if you go bald and it starts growing back. So the ladies, if the DO go bald, would probably tend to wax rather than shave so that it won't grow back for a while.

For guys, it's a cheap trick to make their member look longer. It looks larger if there's no hair because you can see all the way to where the scrotum is and there's not hair covering any of the shaft.

And just for a fun side-topic, bodybuilders often shave their head or at least have very very close haircuts because it gives the illusion of a bigger body. The reason being that their head looks 'smaller' without hair.

my girlfriend has a nice strip, drives me crazy - i love it. and going down on her is awesome. i'm totally grossed out just at the thought of going down on a girl with hair everywhere... as for myself - i trim it occasionally, and my girl likes it like that. i think shaving all the way is bothersome - when the hair starts growing (pretty soon), it starts to itch and poke and it causes extreme discomfort. then you have to shave it off again and it starts growing faster... vicious circle.

I have to agree with Squir.. either nothing or the landing strip here.. changes with the seasons. I hate the "full" effect. Guys, trim, seriously, nothing better. yummy..
