What do you guys know about either and are they worth moving to?

san fran is hella expensive.
my friend is in denver and she's having a hell of a time finding a job right now. but she does office work. you would be able to find work there probably.
san fran you have to save up a lot to move there. look up apartments for rent there on craigslist...
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.
Shorty lives in san fransisco! I love it there. But one thing you should know about are the earthquakes.
I figured as much.
G/f traveled there and said she loved it.
I have a friend from home that has been expressing interest in moving there because he'd like to pursue his videogame career interest.
But you're saying what I was afraid of. California isn't really the place I'd be interested in moving to during these economical affairs.
SF? I hope you like high density population & earthquakes.
The only place I'd live in Cali (that I've visited) is La Jolla.

move to denver and you'll be closer to us.

I'm starting to think about where I'll live after I get my undergrad. I'll probably move back to the area near the great lakes, close to Canada. I'm 8 hours away from Manitoba now.
SF! Its the homosexual capital of the World! I've been there once, and I loved it. The weather is absolutely fantastic, people are friendly, and lots to see and do.
SF just seems to be more interesting than denver. with that alone, i'd make my choice.

...this is just my perspective on the situation...

Well lets be realistic here. The whole state is sitting on a gigantic fault that is drawing closer and closer to breaking every year. When San Andres breaks, the whole state will be flattened, along with most of the western states.
I have never been to Denver, but San Fransisco is absolutely awesome in so many ways. The draw back is that it is extremely expensive : /
One thing to consider is that Denver is landlocked in every direction for 1000 miles. You live relatively close to water. Also, Denver gets extremely cold, where as SF is more mild all around except for the horrendous fog from time to time.
Why do you ask? Are you looking for cities that would be a compromise for you and your girl?

You fear your own anger, the drive to do great and terrible things."

Yes, we need a compromise.
Texas isn't an option because she knows there will be pressure for us to be married.
Philadelphia is worrisome because it's "my territory" and I have a pretty negative relationship with part of my family that intimidates her and that I don't want to subject her to.
We're both tired of New Orleans, and everything that goes with living here.
i'd suggest sacramento for your kind of work.

Apparently Seattle is the best US city for me, so guess I'm not too far off the mark.
