    Mothers Day

My first one alone and I'm sad as hell. Won't even be with my mother either. I've stressed to my husband I was sad and felt like I needed pampering, id: shave my legs or paint my toes or even a massage. Nope.

I can't believe I dont' have anyone in my family to celebrate such a wonderful day. I hope I get at least a call from my son.

Do any of you have plans?

I had actually forgotten until someone mentioned it at work today. We don't make a big deal out of it (I don't), I might get a card or something my son makes at school. We'll probably go for a family bicycle ride if the weather is nice.

But I feel for you. Its hard watching the fledglings take flight. My little guy won't kiss me goodbye at school anymore.

Maybe get a nice bottle of grog for hubby & yourself & relax in the sun? Order something tasty in.

It's another Hallmark moment, however, it's a great way to celebrate moms. We deserve acknowledgment for all of the hard work and bs we put up with. Although we love being moms, its hard work, rewarding but hard. I don't want a big deal made out of it and normally wouldnt care but this year is hard. I'll have my husband do something. Saturday we're getting together with his mom, his brother his girlfriend and we're meeting HER mom. Dinner. I miss my mom too.

I'd love to go to the beach but today I had 2 small moles removed from my face(you couldnt see them but they bothered me) No sun this weekend.

I approve of hallmark holidays. They are nothing more than reminders to express appreciation for the people you love or who have played significant roes in your life.

I sent my mom flowers (she lives out of state). I don't know what my family has planned, but I ask for the same thing every year: that they clean the house for me. I have to work for most of the day, so they should have the time.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Cheer up squirrley, i'm sure your some will call you for mother's day.

I'll be busy this year, so I can't travel down to see my parents. But i'll send my mom a card and give her a call, that's about it.

    You have no idea.

On a brighter note: Happy Mother's Day to all the LF mom's!

After all, an LF mother can only be of the best of mothers.

I'll be enduring my mother's weirdness for a couple of hours on Sunday. Sent my grandma some flowers too.

I don't have my check yet. Chris didn't send in our taxes no lie, until the 15th. He better give me half plus the 300 child credit. I need to get my bills down. It's Friday 2:20 am hows the drinking game going now?
