We just got hit with a tornado

Title says it all. I just got the power back up after running the generator for over 24 hours.

Backyard and shed. What ever is left of it. House is damaged, car is damaged(though not much). I'll say one thing though, good way to meet the neighbors lol.

The tornado came from Louisiana I think and flew through us in IL right through my street. I actually saw the funnel and witnessed the eye of the storm!. It was only a 65mph tornado and it still destroys crap when it is on top of you. The shop around where I work was hit with direct lightning and the roof exploded...sending more chunks of crap at my car grrrr

Neighbors really got it bad, beat up Mercedes and had to gut and cut a tree off their roof.

No, no one was injured really. Some people got more injured during the clean up. I was helping people and asking who needs power. I didn't care about the car than. Don't make me sound so cold hearted, shit.

Glad to hear no one got hurt...excluding the stupid people that somehow did cleaning up.

Anyways, since it's time for a home renovation:

That's quite an experience to go through OV. I'm glad no one got hurt. Hope it doesn't cost too much / take too much time to rebuild.

It was interesting really. Closest lightning bolt I have ever seen hit near me thus far in my life. About 20 feet away.

Lol, just a little guy huh?

Storms without tornadoes here get winds of 80 miles an hour. Any idea what a tornado storm here is like?

That's bad I hope you'll be able to repair the damage and build the shed from a stronger material, like concrete.

Wow, that's something OV. I hope you get your place fixed up soon. At least everyone is okay, that's the important thing. The rest is mere inconvenience.
