    How can I forget her?

I fell in love with a woman and now it's over but I can't let her go. I love this girl so much and I just can find it in me to let go. What can I do? How can I stop hurting from not being with her. She was my world and I feel like I lost my last breath. I don't know what to do now but I know I can't keep hurting.

Yup.....key word is TIME. And whether you like it or not....you have to move on.

A distraction hurries the process along a bit. Not going out and jumping into a short term relationship, or just having meaningless sex. But finding someone to connect with on a different level, that makes you think about them, and not about your ex.

A guy friend of mine once tried to break up a relationship I had years ago. I had feelings for the guy before the relationship, but naturally he didn't return them until it was too late. He knew he screwed up by telling me at that point in time. The moment the relationship was over, he was there, talking to me for hours everyday, doing everything in his power to make me think about the weirdest things, but to keep my mind off of what had happened.

Hey bud Im sorry to hear youre feeling down.. like the others have said time will heal you but theres much up to you to help you out my friend. First of all just break every contact with your ex if you still have some and then force yourself to action.. you dont want to cradle yourself in sadness and memories bud because this is the surest way to stretch out your suffering you want to get that smile back on your face as soon as possible.
So fill your day and this will fill your mind.. if you work just put all yourself there while youre at otherwise just find activities to keep you busy like sport, friends and courses. Consider starting that thing youve always thought of!
When I was brokenhearted it was just before summerholiday so I all of a sudden got into this 3 months work as a farmer and it was really helpful for me to get over it.. make yourself busy and it will pay off I promise you.
    Keep us informed hug!

What "Majorglory" and the rest of the forummers said are true. Meanwhile, try to mingle with other girls. It's hard to forget a person, especially if you really love her a lot. Have some faith and patience with yourself, who knows you'll find a better girl next time.

make her not like you! Do something to her you know she'll hate you for. I ended up going to her place and taking back my bed and TV when she wasnt there even though I said I would leave it for her.. She called me furious when she got home from work and now had no place to sleep and no TV to watch! This sucked for her because she lives 5 stories up in an apt. building with no elevator. She would have go through the hassle of buying a bed and TV and hauling it up there! This made me feel better knowing my EX didnt like me and would not want to talk to me. It kept me from driving myself crazy wondering if she still had feelings for me or not and stopped me from thinking about her. May not work for everyone but it did for me...

...PIZZ, your solution only works for people who don't give a flying F*** about the people they dated. You're allowed to keep caring, although it's very hard. Hatred is easier in some ways, but I mean, it won't make you happier.

Not true! If you get dumped by your BF/GF, they obviously dont care enough about you or the relationship to keep it going.. so I think i'm justified in making her not like me. And if it helps me get through it then all the better. I think as long as you dont do something too harsh

If that's the way you need to deal fine. Some of us more mature folk understand sometimes love just doesn't work out. That's neither party's fault. I've loved two women in my life, and I will always love them and they're welcome as a part of my life as long as they wish.

Not true either. In fact, many, or even most people coming out of serious relationships, when they don't end violently or overly dramatically, still care a lot about the person. Therefore, my opinion is that you're wrong.

Maybe you need to decide if you're a vengeful person...revenge is not sweet, for me, anyway. It is tempting, but it ultimately hurts way more than forgiveness. Acting on those feelings of needing to get revenge will just make you regret stuff in the future, and won't help you any more to move on from the relationship.
