nwnc, this self-loathing is getting embarrassing. You need to butch up and do something, instead of humiliating yourself in front of online strangers. What about some volunteer work? Walk over to the nearest church and ask if you can help them out with anything, even just sweeping the front steps or something like that. It will take you outside of your negative thoughts a bit, and you will feel better about yourself afterward.

The bottom line is that guys don't get periods. Perhaps some guys are displeased with living up to what is expected of a male in our society, but most don't walk around in a bad mood because of it. If you don't like it don't conform. I know plenty of guys who don't live up to what society deems "a real man" and they sit at home being bums, living off of their parents or girlfriends. I wouldn't aspire to be like them though.

Life before puberty was great. Now I understand why human beings used to die in their mid to late 20's. A great childhood followed by some good sex at 16, raise the child til they're 13 and then drop dead with a smile.
