I'm so depressed, I really wish I had a woman but it just feels impossible to get one, is there anything I can do to take my mind off it? I've tried doing things I enjoy but it doesn't seem to work.

No, sorry. Being in your situation on accasion...doing things only gives a temporary relief while you do them. As soon as you stop you will think about how sinlge you are and how much it sucks ass.

I'm just not able to attract them, and social anxiety has made me house bound.

Housebound? Do you go to school? Do you have a job? You need to force yourself out of the house no matter how difficult it is. Otherwise life is going to pass you by and one day you'll look back and realize what all you missed. Then you're really going to know what depression is. I've been there. But I clawed my way out. No reason you can't.

Definitely consider the posted advice, Ross.

It seems that a majority of women are not attracted to depressed individuals, and so looking for a woman to solve the depression typically creates a self-defeating cycle.

Why not invest some time into a passion outside the house? There is a good chance you will meet some females who not only share a common interest with you, but notice the great energy you radiate while pursuing that interest.
