Would you still date a man who waited a week to call

Let's say you met a man and you guys got to talking. During the half an hour or so he made you laugh, he did'nt come on too strong, he was attractive, showed confidence, and was a gentleman but........ Afterwards he asks you for your home phone number..and you (yea you ladies) give him the number..everything is cool...but he waits a week to call you and asks you out. Would you still be interested in dating him?

I, myself, wouldn't be too thrilled. I stick to the four-day rule, most times. I think waiting a week speaks to an assumption on his part that he has to keep your enthusiasm in check or something.

Some guys, however, get bad advice, people telling them not to look too desperate. Doesn't mean he doesn't like you (just means he has bad judgement).

I see no reason not to give him a chance, but with low expectations. If you go out and he takes another week to call you after that, you should worry. Nobody wants to be in a relationship that's moving along at the pace of my grandma's Delta 88.

God, I slept with this guy once, and it took him four days to call me. I had been dating him for several weeks- it's not like it was some once-off. Well, that's actually what it turned out to be, because I got so pissed off I never spoke to him again.

Gribble, where are these "girls"? Are you sure you haven't arbitrarily created them? Despite continously presenting yourself as a killer ladies man, the only girl I've ever heard you mention is some black chick that you thought might have been interested at some point but she got engaged.

I've mentioned a couple others here and there. Frankly, I don't have much to say about them. I'm getting less and less interested in "scoring" at parties and BS like that and no more interested in relationships. So I haven't exactly been at my A game this past semester.

I swear, if it were legal and regulated I would spend my weekends at a brothel.

And honestly, at this point I'd rather hang out with my friends than expend all that energy and money on girls. It doesn't seem worth it to me anymore.
