    Making the 'moving in' jump

Im in my 2nd year at university and am in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend who i adore. We really want to move in together in my 3rd year... HELP! He has just recently become negative over the situation as there are so many things that we would have to think about.
Realistically... is it possible to live together whilst I am at university?

    Thanks xxx

He's a guy, he wants to have sex more frequent, that's one of the main reasons why he wants to do this so badly. How long have you two been seeing each other? And does he have a job? is he relocating for you? and why are you so panicked about it? if things don't work out you can always kick him out.

If you're going to do this, try to schedule it for the summer, when you aren't really busy with classes. Moving in together can be great, but it might start out rough as you work out compromises on things that you previously didn't deal with. A big issue is division of chores. Who will wash the dishes, and how often will the dishes be washed? That kind of stuff. Are either of you unusually messy or neat? Do either of you have a lot of possessions? Are you on roughly the same sleep schedule?
Good decisions come from experience. Experience comes from bad decisions.

    Don't do it.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

    Vashti,

Just out of curiousity, which of the reasons makes you say that?

He's already getting cold feet. You keep pushing it and he's going to break up with you. That's why.

Sorry I miss read your post. If he isn't ready he isn't ready. If you only been together for like 6 months, give it another year before committing to living together. Living together isn't always that great....enjoy your freedom as long as you can.

The fastest way to take the romance out of a relationship is to move in together.
