Am I reading too much in this?

This evening I went to this guy's home to just chill there with a friend of mine who knows him from school. This guy has this house he shares with 2 girls, so they are chilling with us too at some point.

Once I enter his house I go upstairs with my friend and say hello to the two girls and introduce myself, my friend does the same. After that we 3 guys go sit down at the couch and we put on the TV. At some point we start talking with these two girls and once we lose the attention of those two they start talking to each other and tell each other stuff like 'Blablabla this or that guy doesn't even try to get my number' and sentences like that, that felt like hints to me and my friend that we need to do certain actions to catch their attention somehow. Now am I reading too much into this?

My recommendation is play it kool, and don't turn into a pussy.....you should have rolled your eyes at them and shake your head. Be a little douchey about it and they will be walking around in skimpy tops to get your attention instead...worth the wait.

Sometimes when girls talk with each other about guy they dont have a courage to talk to a guys. Especially if a guy is right there. Same in nightclubs - they will touch eachother breasts etc. to get attention because they dont have a courage to touch guys.

Well I barely gave them any attention, but that was because it made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't even know these two, and they were about 5 years older than I am.

Makes sense pcmaster, not sure wether that was the case in my situation though.

Sometimes they would also start making loud jibberish noises to each other when me and my friend were talking to each other.

Reading too much into it, they were probably just bored and doing some random chatting, if anything they wanted yours or your friends advice on men. I don't think it was any sort of flirt talk. Imo.

Some people have ADHD, and can't help it. Especially when they mingle with each other, it's a hot mess in conversation.
