    Low energy/sleepy

I don't know what is wrong with me. I get sleepy all the time during the day even when I already had 10 hours of sleep. This has been going on for years.

Well 10 hours of sleep is a lot. And sometimes over-sleeping can cause lethargy.

Women are also prone to things like anemia (iron deficiency) and countless other things that can be solved with a vitamin or supplement that can cause sleepiness during the day.

Go see your doc!! And if you can't get an appointment right away, make sure you keep a journal of what you're eating, how much you slept the night before and how you feel... this will help you and your doctor explore and hopefully determine the source.

Get a sleep study done. You're probably suffering from apnea. Apnea is when your soft palate drops during sleep, causing a bad snore - and lowering your blood oxygen levels during the night. It can be quite dangerous, heart conditions and such.

    Yes, I would consider that.

I went to the family doc and didn't get much help.

Then go to other doctors. I believe there is more than one doctor in your area. If you are not satisfied with the doctor's findings, then look for second opinion.

You could be oversleeping. Are you overweight? Do you do any exercise?

Get your hormones working for you. Get sunshine on your face and skin as early as possible each day and avoid bright lights for 2 hours before you go to bed.

If all else fails, go to an endocrinologist and get your hormone levels checked out.

This happened to me at one point. Try to change up your diet and eat healthy. I think you might be lacking certain vitamins in your diet.
