I saw you, on hallway number 4 and i was taken aback.

You smiled, your friendliest smile and i wondered what lingerered in your thoughts.

As i approach i gave a sheepish smile and introduced myself and you said hi

And now here we are close friends but never more.....

I sweat on hallway number 4 waiting and waiting and waiting

My heart beat my nose flared, as i saw you walking through the halls.

I tried to talk but no words came out I told myself "come on have some balls"


I blurted the words out and here i stand.

Sweat pouring down my face as you stare at my eyes looking for meaning.

You want to be friends, youre not ready for commitment I take it like a blow to the crotch.

I understand, but its hard to get up but as you see my sadness you say....
