so can a guy just up and stop liking a girl?

so i have this good guy friend. hes a really nice and sweet guy based off his reputation. hes told me he really likes me and he knows i like him. weve gone out some this summer. we live about an hour from each other and if im in town, 99% of the time he'll take the time out to see me. when we first found out we liked each other, he wud call/im/text me almost everyday. its been about 2 months now, and we dont talk AS much even tho i am pretty sure there are no other girls he likes. if we go without talkin for awhile, i can almost guarantee he will call on the 3rd day. we go back to college next week so im sure ill see him then. since we dont talk as much in the beginning, do u think hes stopped liking me? or has the early excitement just died off some and it will probably pick back up when were back on campus.

oh just to add, not to sound cocky, but i am a pretty desired girl on campus. i dont give it up or anything but from what my guy friend told me "im a big deal, im artistic, very pretty, and intelligent"

Are you together? If you're not then, yes, he will eventually move on. You can't expect him to hang around forever.

If you are interested in him, maybe you should go about making sure he knows you care about him... I mean, I can understand letting him initiate contact when you are just beginning to date, but this can't be expected to continue forever. He probably wants to know you care enough to seek him out, too.

I agree with vashti. A guy can't be expected to contact the girl every time. If she doesn't make some sort of effort to contact him despite having dated for a while, he might assume that she's not interested.
