Should i pursue?

Hello all!

Just looking for some general comments as completely stuck!

Ive recently been speaking more and more with a colleague (mostly outside of work via phone/text/online). We work for the same company, but we are at opposite ends of the country (approx 300 miles!) - He travels up to my office usually once a week for 2/3 days for meetings.
We communicate in some form everyday, and there is definitley something there!
There has been no talk of starting a relationship yet, but there is talks of meeting up outside of work, we are both keen!

I dont know whether to just back off, or go with it and see what happens. Long distance is hard on its own...let alone with a colleague. Any thoughts?

I'd say go for it. If you think you have something, see where it goes! It would be a shame to miss it because you're worried about some complication. Just play it by ear.

Don't risk your or his career if there is a regulation with your company over co-workers dating. However, as two consenting adults who like each other's company, why not get together and see where things take you... You aren't deciding to marry this guy right now, you are just deciding to spend a little time with him.
