Sending a Gift

Hi! I'll state my current situation, and then my question.

Right now I'm in an open relationship with a girl that is very far away. I fell in love with her over the summer, and now she's back in school in another state. We're very much in love with each other, but are not in a serious and exclusive relationship because the distance was a major factor that would make that an extremely hard relationship to maintain. Despite this, I'm going to do everything in my power to keep her in love with me.

So my question is this: The girl's birthday is coming up, and I don't know what to get her. I've thought about having a company in her college's city deliver flowers to her dorm room, and that's the best thing I've come up with so far. Any other ideas? I'm looking for something classy, spontaneous, and of course, charming.

Don't get your hopes up. You don't have a relationship to really build on with the distance and LDRs usually fail if they don't have an established base. Plus, she's in college filled with guys that aren't so far away from her that she can see all of the time. So, even if she is with you still, her vagina is probably getting filled right now. Are you ok with that?

Flowers are sweet, but all she'll have by the end of the 2nd week (if she's lucky) is a vase full of dead flowers. Sounds like you might want something that will remind her of you and your summer together. How about doing something a bit more unique and thoughtful like a message in a bottle? You can write her a note telling her how you feel about her or how much fun you had with her over the summer...to remind her what she's missing.
