Since when does looking at someone you find to be beautiful equal to being in love?The men looked into the eyes of actresses they considered beautiful for an average of 8.2 seconds, but that dropped to 4.5 seconds when gazing at those they rated less attractive, the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior reported.
And secondly they're having conversations 1-on-1 in a prepared environment, why would you not look into their eyes? They make it sound as if its a restaurant, your eyes meet, and no one looks away because you're both stunned.

What a load of bs. They were really reaching on this one. If a guy falls in love after 8.2 seconds of 'gazing' on first introductions.. then how come so many males choose women who aren't as beautiful as instinct would demand they seek out? Perhaps there's more to love than seeing that she's hot and fertile?

The study was bad and worded poorly. However, I have heard from a few men that he knows if he wants a woman long term, short term, etc the minute he talks to her for the first time. What really actually happens depends on what happens next and if the woman proves him otherwise.
