Crush on a girl I can't get

Okay this is quite pathetic. I'm 26 years old and have my first real crush and have had it for about six months now.
The girl this is concerning is just great, she's intelligent, real fun to be around, just got amazing charisma and on top of that she's quite easy on the eye.
The problem however is that she lives in Germany. She was down here in Australia for about three months and I just started to like her more and more. Then at one stage I tried to kiss her and she rejected me. I talked to one of her best friends and she said that the girl would probably be interested in me if we lived in the same country, but didn't want to have a holiday fling.
I'm still friends with her and we message each other from time to time and I'll see her again in July.

In the mean time I've also had sex with a random girl and just started dating another girl in order to get over her. But my feelings just aren't in it. I guess it'll just take time.

Dude you are not alone. I also got rejected by a Portuguese-Brazilian girl I’m still crazy about. I saw her on Youtube and she's cute. Her real name is Angelica but her nickname is Jelly.

So I wrote to her in English telling her I think she is really cute and that I’d like to meet her in person. However she emailed me back only once telling me:

“Olla Uri,

Como esta? Oh wait I should write in English!

Thanks for being sweet. Do you really think all those things about me?

Don’t worry I’ll be in touch but currently I don't live in Brazil I moved to Portgual!!”

And since that email, I didn’t hear from her ever since which really broke my heart since I'm still quite obsessing over this girl. I guess if I could come to her in person and if I spoke portuguese my chances would be greater. But as you can see, there's a lot of if.
