Group Dating? Good or Bad? or Situational

So I want to ask this girl out, and I was talking to my friend about what I should do. He said that i should ask her to go on a group date sort of thing w/ him some others and we could all go bowling together. The idea to me was ok, but i don't want her to feel uncomfortable or anything w/ other people if she agrees. Is this group date thing a good idea? or should I look into something else to do? U guys always seem to know best to type away

Well it kinda depends, does she know these other people very well or would she feel like a 5th wheel?

I think group dates are a great idea. Just be sure you invite someone she knows (and likes) to go with you.

Yeah I don't think it would be that bad.. like TAVS said it depends on the person. It could work out for you or against you... like if she doesn't even get a chance to get to know you cause she's so annoyed by one of the others in the group she spends the whole time being irritated and never gives you a chance, whereas had you gone just you two you could have really hit it off... or she could end up likin another one of the guys more than you, which would suck for you LoL

    Could work, could not.

If she knows the other people, it sounds like a good idea.

The idea of group dating is to ensure there are no boring bits. So if she doesn't know anyone, she'll be bored out fo her mind, and you will be constantly asking her "are you OK, you seem quiet"

So make sure the friends are mutual, and include a couple of friendly females, because they will talk her head off.

I love you even with your flaws... I love you because of your flaws.

I'd say they're good - if she knows someone there. If they're all your really good friends it may just be intimidating and overwhelming.

It all depends on the person. If you find she may be the shy type being around a ton of your frineds will not work. If she's not that shy going on a one on one date would be better. If you want to send this girl a message that you really like her then ask her out to dinner just the two of you!

Aaah, it was pretty good. All in all a nice relaxing weekend as we went away for it. Thing is, I also met his parents and sister, niece and nephew, best friend, you name it....over the course of the weekend. I ended up feeling pretty lacklustre about him and the whole darn thing by the end of it.

Can't quite figure out the source of my malaise.

So I figure I need some alone time now!
