    Can guys REALLY be trusted?

Ok, I know that every guy is different. Just because I can no longer trust my boyfriend doesn't mean everyone wants to cheat. However, my boyfriend asked a bunch of guys about cheating, and it seems that most guys wouldn't knock it. Do most guys just need the opportunity to take it? Or at least flirt inappropriately? I know that girls cheat too, but we seem to be more opposed to it as a group. Please enlighten me!!

We want to cheat, and you want to take our money.

    Seems like a fair trade.

Most surveys (taken them for what they're worth, of course) indicate that the percentage of women who have/would cheat vs the percentage of men isn't as far apart as you might think.

I have several friends who have admitted to cheating. Some men, some women. I can also point to two exes who have done it.

I think a better question would be: can people really be trusted? I'd say that a lot of them, regardless of gender, can't really be trusted. I don't find women in general to be any more or less trustworthy than men.

I think that if you look at it carefully you'll find that girls as a group are savagely opposed to other people cheating, but tend to think that it is quite justified in their individual cases.

I'll enlighten you by saying it depends on what kind of group you are with. If your friends are good people of course they'd say they won't cheat, or at least pretend to make themselves sound like they will never do it. If you go with the a**ho*e group, you'd get a different answer.

Guys can be trusted to do or say anything to get into your pants. Once there, they can be trusted to do or say anything to keep you from knowing who all esle's pants they're in.

Women are just as big a bunch of cheaters as men, though. Just because they're vocally against it doesn't mean they don't jump into bed with the right guy when no one is looking. It's a lot more prevalent than anyone cares to acknowledge.

A global authority on all men (i.e. a bunch of guys) told this to your bf? Well then it surely must be true. I mean, how can you dispute a bunch of guys?

This^ is why I've always thought it best to give permission in advance. Reverse psychology and all that.

@ Kam - yes some men can be trusted to keep their word. Some women too.

Male or female? Would a phone number be better?

My brother says that males need an opportunity, and they will cheat, and women need a reason. In my unscientific experience, this seems to be basically true.

I advise you to not trust anyone. It's safer that way.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

If I married the most wonderful woman in the world, someone I loved absolutely from the core of my being, and a week later some cute chick offered me a taste--no doubt, I'd take it. And I'd be in my wife's arms later that night without the least trace of guilt. Me and many, many other men. People don't feel sorry for their crimes until after they've been caught.

In my experience the answer is no. I've never met a guy besides my father I can trust.

I know intellectually that there are trustworthy guys out there. I've just never met any of them.
