Valentines day is coming up very soon. I am just wondering if a guy doesn't do anything for their girl on valentines day, does it mean he doesn't care much for her?

Well, it really depends on the girl.

There are certainly women out there that don't feel their relationship is 'validated' unless they get gifts or crap for Valetines Day.

There are some that are happy just to spend time with the person they care about.

Then there are the realistic ones that realize this is a stupid commercial holiday, and don't care at all.

I'm halfway between #2 and #3. My bf proves he loves me everyday, I don't need one stupid day to prove it to me.

I guess it depends on how important those kind of "special dates" are for her. If they're important, then I'd do something and collect my benefits (you get my drift, for sure); if not, just kiss her a lot and period.
