Are you a caller or a texter?

Which is your first choice when communicating?

I always call first if busy or no reply to a VM, then I will send 1 text.

I'm a caller, I don't like text messages for conversations. I don't mind the occasional short text but talking ...? Nope.

    Same here.

I hate scrolling back or through text conversations and having to type words instead of talking to that person.

Plus in texts others can't get your tone or actual mood right.

sort of both but i hate doing 10 texts in a row as much as i hate a 30 minute phone call, lmao, it becomes annoying, and would rather pick up the phone then type and type to someone, or skype if overseas instead of texting. if it's important i would never text it, i would call first and if no pick up leave a message.

Thank you, Exeter19. My thanks like isn't working this morn, will add when it works.

I'd never want to text more than 3 or 4 back, otherwise it becomes a tedious chore.

Both. But like Exeter said if it's important I'd definitely call over shooting a text..

I was one to criticize the "texter" as an inefficient communicator, especially if you were trying to relay an important message, but I admit to having been sacked in to becoming primarily a texted now.

My defense is that it has now become a pass time along with a communication tool. Mind you I am speaking more about fb chat, skype message, and whatsapp, than actual traditional text messages. Those I hardly use, but I whatsapp with my friends from outside the country CONSTANTLY.

Thank you, nico88, FBJ and nomas.

I could talk to my BF for 3-4 hours if he'd let me or if he'd ever be home long enough to give me that time

Me paying for the call, not him. I'd never make someone pay for a LD call that went over 20 minutes.

Tech is way too advanced these days to pay for long-distance calling. Use Skype or some other program or app.

well, I do like a lot better calls than text, but, if it is a person with whom I don't have a lot of confidence I think I'd rather text

I use Skype too. But I like laying in bed in the dark talking to them on the phone too and those calls get long.

That's true. I probably have a phone comfort level over most people.
