Situation: I am pretty nuts for a girl I just met. Id love a chance to see her more, ie a date or something of that nature. I hinted at hanging out, which seemed to be well received, but I never know.

Problem: I am terrible at not seconding guessing myself.

Question: How should I go about doing this. Do most girls just like when a guy is upfront? I want to say something along the lines of "Hey, I'm pretty nuts about you, want to go get some coffee?" But that feels too blunt. Anyway id say it, id rather not beat around the bush.

Keep it simple. Don't express feelings of being "nuts" for her. That's dull. And personally, if you want to go on a date with her, avoid coffee dates. Morning or afternoon dates are normally reserved for friends, and you don't want to get into that zone. Ask her to dinner. It's a great way for you to both know it's a date and for you to be able to talk to each other to get to know one another. Avoid the movies for a first date. You can't talk.
