That's a terrible idea. At most places, if you look at porn sites a certain number of times, IT receives notification and you'll be fired.

Yeah, well in my husband's case there is no real "IT" department. He troubleshoots for the office when they have any problems and if it is something really serious then they just call someone in. It is a small office, but I still think that he is insane and risking alot. He'll download it on nights when he has to stay there late for something. Well not that I believe that he HAS TO stay now. Now I think that he is just too ridiculously horny to wait a couple hours. What a spazz. I don't think that that is a good sign, LOL. That's why I want an honest response here.

Maybe he just has a self-control problem or porn problem. Whatever he has is really pissing me off. If he ever got fired for something like that I would leave him in a second AND be so bitter I would probably tell everyone too. I can't believe that he would risk his job over something so stupid.

My colleague got fired for surfing porn. Not even downloading it. HR prepared his payslip and the Boss himself walked into his room at closing time with a cardboard box and told him to pack his stuff and get out.
Seems IT discovered his surfing habits.

God no! The government is so suck that they lock all our computor so we can't download nothing...grrrr...pretty boring...

But one day there was a e-mail going around, I am not too sure if you ever seen that...but when you open it.. it ask you to put the volume up so you can hear the message proprely.. and when it start it goes..." HEY EVERYBODY I AM WATCHING PORNO" men you should see the face of some people.. it was so funny!

What risk of getting fired? I own my business. I dont access porn at work because its unprofessional and I would never put that image of myself in my worker's minds.

I think it is ridiculous too. I guess he doesnt want to wait until later at night for sex or porn. That's what weirds me out about it. It's like there's a lack of self control.

Its a stupid idea. I have worked in offices where co-workers accessed porn. In all the cases, everyone in the office knew what was going on and who the perps were. If you do something this stupid you really put yourself at a disadvantage.

Offices are very much about professional image. Image: not whats really going on but what appears to be in front of you. I dont have the urge to access porn at work. I do have the urge at times to smoke some weed....but I dont. Why? because I work in a town where people know eachother and if I were to come in all blurry eyed and stinky that wouldn't say much about my professional abilities..would it? I keep my professional life unsullied as an example to all.
