okay, so we've been together for a year now and for the first months of our relationship, he used to kiss me a lot. but there was this one time, we watched a movie. just the two of us in the room. he tried to kiss me, like french kiss me or something. but i didnt kiss him back. after that, he never tried it anymore. i just wasn't ready that time. i want to kiss him, but i don't want to initiate it. and i'm too shy to tell him. and he's kinda shy to try and kiss me, i guess. what should i do?

Given that he's 17 and should be full of raging hormones, I'm wondering if he no longer sees you as a girlfriend after you rejected his kiss. Perhaps he thinks you're not into him? Could he have taken your insecurity as lack of interest?

You have only one choice here: communicate! Either by initiating a kiss or telling him that you miss his kisses.
