If you're gonna date you're gonna be unsuccessful in that field unfortunately. If you're in your 20s I wouldn't even bother. Focus on your career and yourself, and women will come. When I wanna get some women, I usually go with my fellow pilots and we hit on the girls at the clubs. But finding a decent women? It just happens bro, but wasting your time in relationships with women who are desperate etc is a waste of time, you're better putting that time to better use, because as male you know the feeling when you sleep with someone and you just want them to **** off? that's how it is with someone who isn't right with you, and that's how it is 99% of the time.

If you want to give a go at finding some OK women, doing this skype crap and w/e is a bad idea. Instead go to a church, a library or some other reputable places and perhaps talk to some of the women there. but like I said bro, there's nothing in for dating/relationships unless it's the right women, otherwise get laid and get paid.

Oh yeah and remember this:

Women peak in their teens until they reach 30. That's when nature shifts to men, and if you're half decent looking guy at 30 you will get ALL kinds of women throwing themselves at you literally. But why do you want to be in a relationship?
The best thing in life is to be dependent on yourself and no one else, then you can do whatever you wish.
Unless you want kids, no need for that sort of stuff bro believe me, you are only 22 and you probably have better priorities than wasting your time on a bunch of women.

She was....different from her profile pics, let's just say. Not that she was using pictures that weren't of her, but she's changed considerably in certain, key ways which reflects a lack of caring..

By the way, Join the misc on bodybuilding.com. Start working out that's a good starter you'll be surprised how it improves your confidence and your looks, and the guys on there are all a bunch of bros, they'll always give great advice.

I don't think I'm cool at all enough to get laid, more of a serious relationship sort.

As for desiring girls so strongly at this time in my life...everything else feels comparatively shallow. It would all become a lot more enjoyable with a date or girlfriend.

Okay, you're lacking confidence. And no, stop there everyone can have a serious relationship - this is how you are supposed to breed, but does that mean you should sit there and only have that? No
Every guy can be good looking and cool, you just gotta learn to do that. First thing you need to do is work on yourself, the only person in control of everything is no one but yourself.
As for women? you shouldn't be desiring them, if you are desperate they will see that and you're phucked, and in general it's better to not even bother to desire them as there really isn't much unless they are proper women (this is REALLY RARE).
Why do you want to have a girlfriend? Do you have friends? The only benefit of having a girlfriend is having unprotected sex, or if shes a real women a person to actually spend the rest of your life with - again this is something hard to do by dating believe me.

The reason you're having issues is because you're not confident in yourself, you need to build that confidence. Join a gym and workout seriously, get some discipline - this will all follow with your training, and you will begin to realise how shallow women are when they see a great body and start getting wet. Be a man bro, don't sit there thinking if you date women one day you'll eventually come to the right one, the right one wants something to? what do you have to offer? Emotional stability? thats ****ing useless, a real women wants a real man. I suggest you start working on that.

Yeah. You have a ton of very good points. Guess I'm further from it than I thought...That was the goal: this summer is a failure, in spite of all the various things I will do, if I don't get a date or kiss a girl at least. Looks like an assured failure.

One caveat I would add to this is that it is wise to think carefully about letting a woman be in charge of the birth control. Unfortunately, there are women who consider it appropriate to become pregnant without the consent of the man. It can be a very expensive and life-changing decision for the man.
