New socks. Valentine socks to boot. There's nothing like putting on a fresh new pair of socks. Feels good, man.
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

I love it when my pillows still smell like my bf...ahhhhh. Smells like his hair and cologne.

Since the "what annoyed you" thread is closed for service, I am posting the thing that I did NOT enjoy today... my mother is requesting me on Facebook.

Yeah, I know. I sound like a 16 year old.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Ugh, that reminds me that my grandma has facebook. You know why she commented on my post about leaving my girlfriend's at the end of my break?

"Blah blah blah time to return to the reality of life."

I was so angry I wanted to tell her it's time for her to return to the ground.

I enjoyed sleeping in and finishing a book. That is all.

I got to watch a little big of "Uncle Buck" before work...I forgot how much I love that movie. John Candy was great.

Making blueberry and lemon cheesecakes after work for the game tomorrow, baking relaxes me.

I tell you, I really enjoyed finding out in this thread that the What annoyed you today thread was reopened, only to find that it had been closed yet again, because some members here still wear diapers.

    <everyone looking at me>

I had nothing to do with it. Why was the thread re-closed?

    What I enjoyed:

I enjoyed the fact that I felt attractive today.

    What annoyed me:

I'm annoyed that the "What annoyed you today" thread has been closed again over petty crap and that was my place to vent. Now I will clog this thread with my bitchy attitude about what annoys me.

I'm also annoyed with the fact that my boyfriend made the decision that our baby sleeps by his parents without me. Last time I checked she came out of my ****ing vagina.

I have 5 pending friend requests from relatives who are not cousins...

I enjoyed my whole day today. Surfing twice, did yoga for 1.5 hours, feel like a million bucks. Bought some sharp new threads. Went home for a really nice dinner with my family and then met some friends out. Nothing too special, really, but it was just a fantastic all round day. And best of all it was a Monday! And tomorrow's Australia Day!! Yewwww. It's good to be Charlie Boy!!
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.
