I love you all to death but having someone physically there would beat LF.

Would you rather be a famaous singer or a famous writer if you had to choose?
There are moments when one feels free from one's own identification with human limitations and inadequacies. At such moments one imagines that one stands on some spot of a small planet, gazing in amazement at the cold yet profoundly moving beauty of the eternal, the unfathomable; life and death flow into one, and there is neither evolution nor destiny; only Being. - Albert Einstein

    I didn't cheat death.

My friend saved me from it.

Almost drowned doing something really stupid.

    Do you still get pimples?

Occasionally, usually when I switch between different climates or waters - as in, the water in my shower at home sometimes makes me break out when I first get there, and going back and forth to and from Germany a few times in the last few months hasn't helped. But luckily I seem to have been spared the skin problems that my sisters both have.

edit: like right now i have this totally random zit on my forehead and it's driving me CRAZY and i have no idea where it came from.

What great work of non-English literature would you most like to read in its original language?

I can't stand monkeys, and can't understand people who love them so much.

Do you drink milk/orange juice/2 liter sodas straight from the bottle?

Even if they've just been opened?

Not milk, but I do drink apple juice straight out of the carton. Whenever I wake up dehydrated, I go straight for the fridge and down half a liter of apple juice. Mmm.

Giga - one of my old teachers knows Greek and is working on his own translation of the Bible. This guy is a total perfectionist and would tell us all kinds of things about places and specific words where the bible is translated badly, so I can't wait to see his version.

    American or imported cars?

    I'd say imported, Honda's, Toyota's, Scion's.

However I must say I'm diggin' Dodge's new lineup of cars. That Caliber is pretty hot.

    Mac or PC?

PC. It runs my software better, and I don't need a user-obsequious interface.

btw, I hate monkeys too. They creep me out.

    Have you ever gone surfing?
