I think asking before March might be a good idea, then.

Yay...go Cain! Life is an adventure..enjoy it to your fullest.
I just have to save for the ring before I do it... and have to think of an amazing way to do it. I'm a believer in making proposals something to remember.
Yes, please do think of a way to do it...it doesn't have to be major just memorable..and don't do like my ex-fiance..I'm too embarrassed to say . It was alright I guess.
No, tell us. We have to know now.
Well he asked my a dozen times over the years but he never had the ring so I did not take them as 'real proposals'. Then, one day while I was busy working on the computer he came from work as usual got down on one knee and presented the ring and said what I meant to him. If unexpectedness and astonishment was his goal then he definitely got that. He has done way too many romantic things with me so it was fine that he did it that way. We had plenty of adventures together.
EDIT: The surprise lasted only 5 minutes. It still did not feel like a 'real proposal'. That is the price we pay when being in a LTR for many years playing like married couples before marriage. And it almost felt like a divorce (I guess) leaving because we almost had to go to court to determine who gets what.
