I think you should at least definitely postpone marrying her. Tell her you need more time to see if your relationship improves....I'd say a year maximum. If she goes back to her old behaviours at any time, I advise you to leave.

Everyone here is right....she sounds like the type that will try and ruin your life if you divorce her. So I wouldn't get married just yet.

Wow! What a piece of work she is.

The thing about promises people like your xGF make is that they don't stick to it. They'll show you the good side for a few months and they'll slip right back into their normal psychotic self. Take it from someone who had experience this with someone like your ex! I'm glad I ended it when I realised that he wasn't going to change into a better person cause being violent, critical and abusive are just his nature.
