I hate to admit it, but I'm becoming a believer in drastic action to contain trouble makers. You can talk until you are blue in the face, if someone loves to stir things up they'll just keep on doing it making life harder for everyone until you get rid of them.

yeah, exactly what we need: a zero tolerance policy to the enforcement of the forum laws and by-laws. High visibility policing. Mandatory sentencing. We must maintain order. F-cking losers.

This is one of the reasons i never wanted to moderate after 2006 problems we had. Problems were so major we decided to make another forum. lol. It's not an easy fix you guys. Try to be fair to everyone and make sure the rules are clear so people can't bitch about it later on. it's the best you can do really. If you try to overpower, people won't really like coming on here because they'll think it's a show for a few.

I'm bitching because of all this talk about forum "rules" and and enforcement of said rules sucks every last molecule of fun out of the forum. I got enough rules in the real world.

That's fair enough, but can you honestly say that you know how many people left LF because of Neo? I've seen a number of people leave or threaten to leave as a direct result of his comments or intimidation tactics. People like that are not an asset, but a liability. Why exactly should moderators be nice to him if he causes so much damage to the forum?

There are people who want to defend Neo because of some misguided sense of duty. Fair enough, but defend someone who is worth defending.
