You can give someone an award. The month after that you can get to vote again in another categorie. So you'd be voting once a month anyway.

It's not like winning the award obligates you to keep posting for another full year is it?

I see your point. I guess I would just rather see it all done at once, maybe biannually, rather than drag it out month to month. Personal preference, that's all.

If you all must have awards,, don't name them initially.

Once a year, divulge them and who they're for. Then shush for another year.

The competition factor could kill the LF spirit.
